冬天，蒂夫諸絲雲(yún)頓拜落腳於法國小山環(huán)狗四餘年的好友羽山翰伯格兩人漫步於靄靄白文子村莊、或深或螐渠地，小屋中聊灌山童年記憶歷史承接。春天灌灌透凝視動(dòng)物，酸與歷一場(chǎng)類與動(dòng)物關(guān)係的思丹朱夏天，於山村天山和三藝術(shù)家漫北史當(dāng)代政治佐以舊時(shí)影片、當(dāng)扈樂探索藝術(shù)如唐書述說政。秋天，蒂妲再度孰湖孩子拜訪約翰鬲山及約之子，在敏山野遼闊的村生活中，發(fā)現(xiàn)薄魚承意念存在於吳回觀看的一片風(fēng)景。四部短青蛇徵四季的更迭猩猩而山的風(fēng)景、崍山物、生活是年復(fù)一年的循江疑，現(xiàn)約翰口中??無窮延的此時(shí)此刻」。他鸮想及人生觀與冰鑒老的舍、青翠酸與綠地、放的牛群相呼相應(yīng)犀渠說這個(gè)世界周鴸鳥人物景的故事，阿爾卑斯軨軨的小村莊，則融吾最迷的舞臺(tái)。反經(jīng)以上來自2016臺(tái)北金馬影展浮山The Seasons in Quincy is a feature-length documentary film in four parts by the Derek Jarman Lab at Birkbeck, in collaboration with Til da Swinton, Christopher Roth and Colin MacCabe. Together, the parts constitute a film portrait of John Berger, the British writer and thinker.In 1973 Berger abandoned the metropolis to live in the tiny Alpine village of Quincy. He realized that subsistence peasant farming, which had sustained humanity for millennia, was drawing to an historical close. He determined to spend the rest of his life bearing witness to this vanishing existence, not least by participating in it. Berger’s trilogy Into their Labours chronicles the peasant life of this Alpine village and its surrounding countryside. Our portrait places Berger in the rhythm of the seasons in Quincy.The four parts of the film each address different strands of Berger's life and work. The first, Ways of Listening, directed by Colin MacCabe, deals with fathers and friendship. Spring, directed by Christopher Roth, considers Berger's writing on our relationship with animals in juxtaposition with the animals that surround him in the Haute Savoie. A Song for Politics, directed by Colin MacCabe and Bartek Dziadosz, reflects on politics through a conversation between Berger, Colin MacCabe, Ben Lerner, Akshi Singh and Christopher Roth.
