Praesangeam : Jinan has been stepping up efforts to boost digitalization in order to develop itself into a modern and strong provincial capital city.Jinan started its overall digital construction in 2022 to form a general framework that integrates digital offices, digital government, digital economy, and digital society.Application documents have been reduced from 21 pieces to three pieces, the processing time has been reduced from 30 days to two days, and 66,000 pieces of paper have been saved, which exemplify the achievements of the digital governance reform in Jinan.In 2022, 1,026 municipal internal affairs offices went fully digital in Jinan, which contributed to Jinan's leading position in the province.The acceleration of digital government construction also contributes to digital urban construction, economic and social high-quality development, and creating new business environment advantages.A total of 2,382 government services permit the simultaneous issuance of paper certificates and electronic certificates, and the application rate for government affairs services online offices at the municipal level in Jinan has surpassed 99 percent.The Ai Shandong Quancheng Ban application has over 2,000 services available online, and was included as a practical case of the 2022 Digital Government Innovation Achievements and an example of the 2022 Internet and Government Service Integration in China.Jinan has been improving its digital industrialization and industrial digitalization.
